The predicted salary is between 12.71 - 12.71 £ per hour.
Reporting to the Facilities & Operations Manager you will be responsible for receiving, prioritising, and responding to all planned and reactive maintenance requests across the Hospice and wider LOROS estate, supporting both clinical and non-clinical services to the Hospice and the LOROS estate.
The successful candidate must have experience of working in a similar facilities management role, ideally within a clinical or healthcare setting; however, training will be provided to the successful candidate.
You will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of internal teams and external contractors. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential, as is a good understanding of health and safety work practices.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, a positive and solution-focused approach, and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Work hours: 33.5 hours per week (average) worked as follows:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.00am to 3.30pm; Friday 9am to 5.30pm; Saturday and Sunday 7.30am to 3.00pm
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.00am to 3.30pm; Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour. 24 hours per week | Salary £16,336.32 per annum / £13.09 per hour. 37.5 hours per week | Salary £25,525.50 per annum / £13.09 per hour.
