33.5 Hours Per Week (average) Worked As Follows:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.00am to 3.30pm; Friday 9am to 5.30pm; Saturday and Sunday, 7.30am to 3.00pm
  • Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.00am to 3.30pm; Friday 9am to 5.30pm

£12.71 per hour

We require a Domestic Assistant to join our professional team to provide a high-quality cleaning service based primarily on the Inpatient Wards at the hospice. You will be responsible for cleaning different areas across the Hospice including clinical areas, patient areas, infected areas, non-clinical areas, corridors and staff areas to the highest of cleanliness standards.

Excellent communication skills are essential as is a friendly, polite and helpful manner as you will be interacting with patients, relatives, visitors and other members of staff across the Hospice. You must also be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.

Ideally you will have a good knowledge of manual handling techniques and COSHH. Experience of working in a healthcare setting is required, however training in all settings will be provided.
