22.5 hours per week over 3 days / £30,384 per annum (£50,640 FTE)

LOROS is seeking an experienced Information Governance Lead to provide expert leadership on information governance, data protection and compliance across the organisation. Acting as the named Data Protection Officer (DPO), the successful candidate will ensure compliance with UK GDPR and related legislation while supporting the safe and effective use of information throughout the Hospice.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Resources, this role will lead on:

  • Data protection policies
  • Managing information governance risks
  • Coordinating data in relation to subject access requests and GDPR breaches
  • Overseeing the annual Data Security and Protection Toolkit submission
  • Delivering training and advice to colleagues at all levels

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive professional with significant information governance and data protection experience. The best candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to embed a culture of compliance and accountability.
