This role is analytics‑led, not tax‑led. You’ll use your technical expertise to build smart, scalable workflows and dashboards, while working closely with tax and finance subject‑matter experts who provide domain guidance.
If you enjoy turning complex, manual processes into efficient, automated solutions, this role will suit you well.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with Finance and Tax stakeholders to understand existing processes and pain points
- Translate business requirements into automated workflows and analytics solutions
- Build, enhance and maintain data workflows using Alteryx
- Develop dashboards and reporting (e.g. Power BI) to improve visibility, controls and governance
- Support the automation of reconciliation and reporting processes
- Upload, manage and maintain workflows on Alteryx Server
- Own the tools you build — including documentation, training and handover to end users
- Act as the technical expert on analytics solutions during change and transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with external advisers (e.g. consulting partners) where specialist input is required
Tools & technology:
- Alteryx (essential) – workflow development, automation and data transformation
- Power BI and Excel for reporting and visualisation
- Alteryx Server for workflow management and deployment
What we’re looking for:
- Essential:
- Strong, hands‑on experience using Alteryx
- Alteryx certification (Designer Core minimum)
- Ability to break down complex processes and data problems
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Confidence working with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience in financial services or insurance
- Alteryx Server experience
- Power BI or dashboarding experience
- Experience with reconciliations or finance processes
- Project or stakeholder management experience
