My client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This role's core purpose is to deliver high-quality end-user and infrastructure support, ensuring agreed service levels are met or exceeded, while continuously improving services and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and support IT infrastructure and end-user services in line with agreed service levels.
- Support continuous service improvement, embedding customer care and service excellence as core values.
- Follow IT service management (ITIL) processes, ensuring consistency, accurate documentation, and effective use of service management tools.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify, investigate, and resolve system and service issues, including preventative measures.
- Provide specialist technical advice and guidance, including mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Manage and protect confidential and sensitive information, ensuring compliance with legislation (e.g. DPA, FOI).
- Supervise external technical consultants when required and deputise for senior managers as needed.

- Server, storage, and email technologies (physical & virtual environments, Exchange, VMware/Hyper-V).
- Desktop, workspace, and virtual desktop technologies (Citrix, Windows environments).
- Network, security, telephony (Cisco, Nexus, Mitel VOIP).
- Datacentre, monitoring, bulk printing, and midrange systems.
