The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading global life sciences organisation on an exciting transformation programme across their European Supply Operations function. You will work alongside experienced specialists to help improve and modernise supply chain processes using automation, data insights, and digital tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support Process Automation
- Help identify manual or repetitive tasks across supply operations and support the development of simple automation solutions.
- Assist in building workflows for tasks such as reporting, data checks, and notifications.
- Work with Data & Analytics
- Support data analysis activities to help teams make better decisions.
- Contribute to dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar.
- Assist in Digital Solution Development
- Help build and test simple apps, dashboards, or prototypes (e.g. using Power Apps or similar tools).
- Learn how digital tools are applied to solve real business problems.
- Learn Systems & Integration Basics
- Gain exposure to core business systems such as SAP and planning tools.
- Support integration activities under guidance from senior team members.
- Collaborate with Teams
- Work closely with supply chain teams (logistics, planning, order management) to understand their challenges.
- Help translate business needs into simple technical solutions with support.
- Documentation & Training Support
- Assist in creating user guides, documentation, and training materials.
- Help ensure solutions are easy to understand and adopt.

- Proactively suggest small improvements to processes and ways of working.

What We’re Looking For
- Education & Interest
- Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong interest in automation, data, and digital technology.
- Technical Foundations (Basic to Intermediate)
- Some experience or academic exposure to tools such as: Excel (formulas, data analysis), Power BI / data visualisation tools.
- Basic coding (e.g. Python or similar – not essential but beneficial).
- An interest in learning tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar platforms.
- Nice to Have (But Not Required)
- Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or operations (through study, internship, or projects).
- Basic understanding of ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Awareness of automation or low-code platforms (Power Platform, UiPath, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile or project-based ways of working.
