We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Azure Cloud Services to lead the global strategy, architecture, and operational delivery of our Azure environments. This is a senior leadership role driving innovation, cloud transformation, and next‑generation AI-enabled services across Capita’s global operations. You will define our cloud vision, lead high-performing international teams, collaborate with Microsoft and key partners, and ensure our platforms are secure, scalable, and resilient. Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Strategy & Innovation
- Define & deliver the global Azure cloud strategy aligned to business priorities
- Champion AI, machine learning & modern cloud technology adoption
- Evaluate emerging technologies to evolve cloud capabilities
- Architecture & Design
- Architect enterprise Azure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS & AI
- Ensure cloud platforms are resilient, scalable & secure
- Partner with Microsoft and SMEs to shape cloud architecture
- Cloud Transformation
- Modernise legacy systems & enable cloud-native development
- Embed Azure AI services (OpenAI, Cognitive Services, ML) into workflows & apps
- Global Operations & Service Delivery
- Lead 24/7 Azure operations ensuring high performance & uptime
- Manage SLAs, service support, incidents & escalations
- Drive automation, monitoring & operational excellence
- Security, Governance & Compliance
- Define global cloud governance frameworks & policies
