We are currently recruiting for a software engineer with Pricing / Underwriting experience to join one of our Global Insurance clients on a 12-month contract Inside IR35 - Hybrid.
This role will support the internal development of the Risk Rating & Pricing team, made up of actuaries with domain expertise and software engineers, who manage the development of products in various pricing systems.
- Configuration of pricing system products including the drafting of documents, development of user interfaces, workflow tools and broker portals.
- Managing and maintaining the quality of data at each stage in the underwriting and reporting process.
- Experience of configuring pricing system products previously and/or experience of writing, testing and developing within a programming language such as XML, C++, Python and R or similar would be equally useful.
- An understanding of full project lifecycle in a structured environment would be an advantage.
- Strong writing skills to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft technologies.
