Requirements
- Strong skills across Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning domains with a track record of developing and deploying ML solutions in a commercial setting.
- Ph D, or equivalent commercial track record, in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience translating research and technical concepts into practical, real-world applications.
- Excellent programming skills and a solid understanding of algorithms, computational methods, and software development principles.
- Experience designing and conducting experiments, evaluating performance, and interpreting complex datasets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A curious and collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models and advanced analytical solutions.
- Produce clear technical documentation, performance reports, and experimental evaluations to support business and product decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet performance, quality, and commercial objectives.
- Support the integration, verification, and validation of machine learning solutions within product development programmes.
- Work with external research, technology, and academic partners to transfer knowledge and innovative approaches into the business.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data science techniques to improve products, customer experiences, and internal business processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, methodologies, and infrastructure.
- Stay current with emerging trends and developments across data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and analytics.
