Senior Solution Architect – Oracle Fusion – Transformation Programme

Overview:

This role supports a major Public Sector transformation initiative focused on modernising back-office operations across multiple departments through the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. The Oracle Solution Architect will be instrumental in shaping and delivering solutions across ERP, HCM, SCM, and Data Intelligence modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead Oracle Fusion Cloud expert within the transformation programme team.
  • Provide in-depth functional and technical expertise across Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM (including payroll), SCM, and Data Intelligence.
  • Support the development and refinement of a Common Operating Model (COM) aligned with Oracle capabilities.
  • Collaborate with delivery partners and departmental stakeholders to ensure solution design supports strategic transformation goals.
  • Lead or contribute to configuration workshops, solution design sessions, and gap analysis activities.
  • Advise on data migration, integration architecture, and reporting using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Ensure solutions comply with cloud hosting standards.
  • Contribute to risk mitigation strategies, particularly around supplier capacity and resource constraints.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications in large-scale public sector or enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following modules: ERP (Finance), HCM (HR/Payroll), SCM, Data Intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS ERP platforms, cloud infrastructure (OCI), and cloud hosting requirements.
  • Experience working on cross-departmental transformation programmes with complex stakeholder environments.
  • Familiarity Public Sector shared services strategy and public sector procurement processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment with evolving requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
