Our leading Financial Services client is looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect to join their team for a 6 months initial contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of the lending domain, including operational accounting, credit risk management, liquidity management, and financial statement reporting (e.g., balance sheet reporting).
- Strong experience with Apigee.
- Knowledge of UML and C4 modelling.
- Knowledge of Microservice patterns including Event Sourcing patterns, Cloud Architecture, and Domain Driven Design.
- Building the banks’ lending capability within their agile FinTech organisation.
- Advise and support product owners.
- Demonstrate and communicate clearly when exceptions to standard approaches are needed.
- Produce Architectural documentation using standard tools and work with the wider community to improve those tools.
- Able to take on loosely defined problem statements and break them down into tractable challenges that you can solve.
- Experience of collaborating in a diverse community and the architecture chapter.
- Able to constructively disagree, compromise, and synthesise the best possible solution from multiple viewpoints and inputs.
- Experience in building lending capabilities within a financial organisation.
- Be able to communicate complicated concepts and collaborate in a remote-first environment effectively with various teams including platform engineering, security, privacy, and risk.
