As part of continued growth, they are seeking a Tax Compliance & Reporting Specialist to join their finance team.
The Role
As a Tax Compliance & Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and reporting across the business. Working closely with senior members of the tax and finance teams, you will gain exposure to a broad range of tax matters while playing a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax filings and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare UK corporate tax returns and supporting tax computations
- Assist with the coordination of international tax compliance with external advisors
- Support quarterly and annual tax reporting, including IFRS or UK GAAP provisions
- Prepare tax accounting entries, including current and deferred tax calculations
- Gather and analyse financial data required for tax reporting and compliance
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate information flow
- Support interactions with external auditors and tax authorities where required
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation and related processes
- Maintain and improve tax compliance processes and documentation
- Provide support on ad hoc tax projects and initiatives
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in corporate tax compliance and/or reporting
- Background in practice or industry, ideally within financial services or a multinational environment
- Good understanding of UK tax legislation and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Exposure to the insurance sector or financial services
- Experience with IFRS or UK GAAP tax reporting
