Hybrid 2/3 days per week in London

We are looking for a highly talented Senior Designer with proven experience, strong brand instincts and a consistent track record of delivering outstanding creative work. This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients Creative Studio, which sits within Corporate Affairs.

As a Senior Designer, you will:

  • Apply your strong understanding of branding, typography, layout and data visualisation to create compelling designs across a range of presentation and report formats.
  • Deliver fresh, impactful brand, print and digital design across the group's multiple companies, spanning industries such as technology, private wealth, sport, energy, finance and more.
  • Bring exceptional attention to detail and a passion for making information beautiful, clear and engaging.

You will work closely with a team of designers and report directly to the Lead Designer or Design Director. The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining an exceptional standard of craft is essential.

Your craft:

  • You have a genuine passion for design and bring fresh, unexpected ideas to the table.
  • You can develop design concepts across multi-channel projects, including editorial, video, print, OOH, digital and events.
  • You have an exceptional eye for detail and take pride in delivering work to a very high standard.
  • You are highly proficient in relevant design software, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • You have a portfolio that demonstrates a strong track record in creating standout brand work, with some digital experience.
  • Working with the Lead Designer and/or Design Director, you are able to generate new ideas and creative concepts.
  • You stay aware of design trends, but more importantly, you know when and how to use them appropriately.
  • You enjoy supporting and inspiring teammates, helping them realise their potential.
  • You can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector would be beneficial, but is not essential. Motion design knowledge would be an advantage.

Please note: it is essential that you can present a portfolio of relevant work at interview.

Experience required:

  • Experience as a Mid-weight or Senior Designer, or in a similar role.
  • Confident presenting ideas to clients and senior stakeholders with clarity and impact.
  • Comfortable contributing to meetings and workshops, and able to challenge a brief or client constructively to achieve the best outcome.
  • A strong verbal and written communicator who is personable, collaborative and highly engaged.
  • Able to manage shifting priorities and deadlines, while staying calm under pressure.
  • Strong editorial design experience, including layouts for both print and digital media.
