We’re currently partnering with a leading global commodities trading business seeking an experienced Credit Insurance Manager to join their international credit team. This is a highly commercial and market-facing role focused on structuring and executing credit insurance solutions to support complex trading activities across energy and commodity markets. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, credit, finance, brokers, and underwriters to manage counterparty exposure and optimise risk mitigation strategies across the portfolio.
- Key Responsibilities
- Structure and negotiate credit insurance solutions across single risk, portfolio, and whole turnover exposures
- Manage relationships with brokers, underwriters, and financing partners globally
- Support complex transactions through tailored insurance structures including layering, syndication, and top-ups
- Review policy wording, exclusions, and claims mechanics
- Coordinate claims processes and recovery management
- Partner with internal stakeholders across trading, credit, and finance teams
- Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience within:
- Credit insurance broking
- Underwriting
