The Role
Lorien are currently working with an exciting but unique business within their sector as they continue growth as requirements from their clients are in more demand. We are supporting them with a Network Engineer position, supporting connectivity across multiple customer environments. This is a varied position combining remote support with hands-on network and internet installations, giving you a mix of technical troubleshooting and project-based work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting and maintaining network infrastructure across multiple sites
- Delivering network and internet installations
- Troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues (2nd/3rd line)
- Working closely with customers, ISPs, and internal teams
- Supporting both remote and on-site technical requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Strong grounding in networking fundamentals and connectivity
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
- Background in 2nd/3rd line support
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment
- Able to manage a mix of remote work and site-based activity
