I am supporting a Global Professional Services company that is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Functional Analyst to support the design and implementation of end-to-end Order to Cash services for a major client transformation programme. This is a high-impact role within a large-scale, multi-phase mobilisation, focused on delivering standardised, user‐centred finance services that enable accurate billing, effective cash collection and strong revenue control.
You'll play a key role in shaping the Order to Cash service design, ensuring alignment between client requirements, standard solution capabilities and the wider finance operating model. Working closely with functional analysts, finance SMEs, service designers and technology teams, you'll help define robust, scalable O2C processes that deliver a seamless experience for service recipients and end users.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and support the design of end-to-end Order to Cash processes, including customer and account setup, billing and invoicing, cash receipts and cash application.
- Contribute to the development of the Finance Service Blueprint and High-Level Operating Model, ensuring O2C services are clearly defined, controlled and integrated with adjacent processes such as Procure to Pay and Record to Report.
- Facilitate and participate in client and SME workshops, capturing detailed functional requirements, business rules, exceptions and volumes.
- Translate requirements into clear low-level process maps, service designs, functional specifications, SOPs and service artefacts to support testing, transition and live service operations.
- Work collaboratively with Service Design, Technology and Operations teams to ensure O2C processes align with standard ERP-enabled solutions.
What we're looking for:
Essential experience and skills:
- Strong functional expertise in Order to Cash, with hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating O2C services within shared services, BPO, or large-scale finance transformation environments.
- Solid understanding of billing, cash receipts, revenue assurance, debt management and financial controls, including audit and compliance considerations.
- Experience working in ERP-enabled O2C environments (e.g. Oracle-based solutions) and integrating O2C with wider finance services.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality process documentation, SOPs and functional artefacts to support testing, training and operational readiness.
- Experience in O2C optimisation and transformation, ideally with a focus on cash applications and suspense accounts.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working directly with client finance SMEs, operations teams and cross-functional delivery teams.
What's in it for you?
- Salary up to £57,000
- Annual Bonus
- 23 days' holiday (rising to 27), with the option to buy additional leave
- Paid volunteering day each year for a charity or cause of your choice
- Company pension, life assurance, cycle-to-work scheme and enhanced family leave policies
