We're hiring a Senior Data Insights Analyst to join a growing Data & Analytics function supporting underwriting and portfolio teams within a leading insurance environment. This is a highly visible, business-facing role where you'll partner directly with underwriting, actuarial and portfolio stakeholders to deliver impactful insights and drive data-led decision making.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality analytics, MI and reporting solutions to support underwriting strategy
  • Act as a key analytics partner to underwriting and portfolio teams
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insight
  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Drive improvements in data quality, processes and insight capability
  • Promote a data-driven culture across the business
  • Explore new tools, AI capabilities and data sources

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in a data/insights role within insurance
  • Good understanding of underwriting or broking processes
  • Advanced Excel + strong Power BI capability
  • Solid experience with SQL
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders and influence decisions
  • Strong communication skills – able to explain data to non-technical audiences
  • Experience delivering MI, dashboards and analytical insight

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Delegated Authority / Bordereaux data
  • Exposure to Python, R or advanced analytics
  • Experience with Power Platform tools
