Job Description Senior Content Editor – 6 month contract – Inside IR35 flexible day rate Loriens leading public sector client are looking to add a Senior Content Editor to the team on a 6 month initial contract. Fully remote option available Responsibilities: Proven Experience : 4+ years of experience in content editing, with a focus on websites, wider digital media, marketing, or journalism. Strong understanding of accessibility requirements, specifically WCAG AA 2.2: Knowledge of accessibility requirements for public bodies and how to implement best practice in content. Exceptional Writing and Editing Skills : Strong attention to detail and the ability to refine content for clarity, tone, grammar, and structure. Project Management : Experience managing multiple content projects simultaneously, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively. Leadership and Mentorship : Experience managing or mentoring junior team members and providing constructive feedback to improve content quality. Strong Understanding of SEO : Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimise content for search engines while maintaining readability and engagement. Content Management Systems (CMS) : Proficiency in CMS platform Umbraco (or other similar) and basic HTML knowledge.
