The predicted salary is between 42000 - 58000 Β£ per year.

Lorien's Utilities client are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join on a 12 month initial contract, inside IR35.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:

  • Experience of working in energy and utilities sector and associated technologies, specific experience in electricity networks, Distribution Network Operators and asset management organisations.
  • Working knowledge of field service and operations, capital programme delivery or customer service design preferable.
  • Experience working in an agile programme delivery environment delivering business and technology change using waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong track record of using business analysis techniques to elicit business requirements and translating these into functional and non-functional requirements, processes and procedure documentation.
  • Confident in designing and facilitating cross-business workshops to deliver programme outcomes.
  • Previous experience of leading, setting direction and helping other analysts deliver as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrates an all-encompassing breadth and depth of knowledge and experience with experience from a similar Senior support or development role in supporting business critical/complex systems in a large organisation.
  • Expert in process design and mapping, gap analysis, identifying process improvement opportunities (Lean or similar).
  • Experience in leading teams of business analysts and junior business analysts to deliver quality outputs. Developing team capability taking into account relevant framework, good practice and methodologies.
  • Confident providing judgements based on logical conclusions that have been drawn from available facts clear and concise data driven recommendations to senior business stakeholders.
  • Accurately visualises and clearly articulates proposed solutions to business problems and drive broader business outcomes.
