2 days p/w in Warwick (UK), Belfast (NI) or Duleek (IRL) office. Work directly with the creator and original developer of a very successful, cloud-based time and attendance platform that utilises geofencing, AI and facial recognition.
With an initial focus on frontend development to rebuild the web portal, in this role you would also be working across backend and mobile (React Native) to help integrate the system with the wider parent company and their portfolio of products, and to scale for higher volumes of users and traffic. You will be part of a small team within a much larger development community that has a mature CI/CD environment and follows AWS best development practices.
Responsibilities- Shape features based on customer and team feedback
- Build and enhance features for our web and React Native applications
- Writing tests and fixing bugs
- Review pull requests from team members
- Taking ownership of building backend features end-to-end
- Contributing ideas and recommendations to enhance the system and its performance
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- In-depth skills with React and Typescript (React Native a plus)
- Proficiency with any backend development language (Ideally Python)
- Relevant knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Flask, Django, SQLAlchemy, TanStack, React Query a plus
