Job Title: Release & Environment Manager
Business Unit: Audit Technology (EWT)
Reports to: Operations & Support Lead
Work Location: Watford
Travel Required: Occasional travel
Key Responsibilities
Release Management:
- Be responsible for successful Release Management; applying the processes, systems and functions required to make new and changed services available for use.
- Work with delivery teams to ensure product releases are appropriately managed, in line with Global/UK standards.
- Manage multiple varied internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration throughout the release cycle.
- Coordinate with wide range of stakeholders to define the release scope, objectives, and success criteria for each release.
- Communicate release plans and progress/status updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present release reports, including metrics, Key Performance Indicators and lessons learned to support continuous improvements.
Environment Management:
- Manage usage of all non-production environments (Pre-Prod, UAT, DEV, etc), ensuring environments are consistent and fit for purpose.
- Create and maintain environment roadmaps based on multiple functional requirements, alongside defining environment guidelines for consistency.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Previous experience as a Release & Environment Manager in a large-scale IT environment.
- Proven abilities in planning, executing, and monitoring the Project schedule for successful delivery of value in line with project scope.
Desirable
- Experience in working in a either a cloud environment or risk and control / assurance environment preferred
- Certifications in ITIL, PRINCE, DevOps or related fields are advantage
