This company, a leading energy provider in the UK, is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Developer to join their talented team. As the Oracle Fusion Developer - Reporting, you will play a crucial role in developing and testing Oracle Fusion HCM reports, ensuring the alignment of the application with business and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of gathering and delivering technical reporting requirements (both functional and non-functional).
- Work closely with the company's HCM Workstream Leads and Subject Matter Experts to implement the HCM Implementation Plan.
- Provide gap analyses of the current and desired reporting for HCM, and develop solutions to address these gaps.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies within the HCM Reporting Workstream, and proactively manage and mitigate them.
- Produce a range of project documentation, including specifications, strategies, project plans, and RAID items.
- Translate complex technical concepts and terminology for non-technical audiences.
Requirements / Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in developing Oracle Reports in OTBI and Oracle BI Publisher.
- Strong functional knowledge in Oracle Fusion HCM (HR and Payroll), including HCM Extracts.
- Ability to build custom formulas, sophisticated reports, and dashboards within OTBI.
- Excellent SQL query performance tuning skills.
- Experience with scheduling report jobs and bursting BIP reports to end users.
- A background in working on projects, preferably with larger companies.
- Exposure to infrastructure and multi-platform environments, ideally within the energy or utility sector.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Location & Role Details
This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week onsite in Reading, and the potential for extension beyond the initial contract period.
