Our retail client is looking for a Project Manager to join them on a contract basis. This role will design and implement an optimal corporate structure which is designed to meet legal and tax requirements and support a venture deal with a global investment company and external investors.
Workstreams include:
- Corporate structure: set up of companies, coordination of property moves internally and externally
- Finance set up: agree and implement how accounting works, roles, responsibilities etc., open bank accounts and tax groups, Oracle and Coupa finalisation
- Finance ongoing support: roles & responsibilities, checks and balances, performance management & reporting
- Governance: governance of structure on ongoing basis
Accountabilities:
- Creation and owner of stage plan and dependencies, tracking progress
- Owner of deliverables tracker
- Own and manage workstream meetings, minutes and actions
- Owner of RAID log - responsible for risk & issue management within stage
- Draft project communications
- Per stage creation of go/no go framework, checklist and delivery of go/no go process
- Maintain team R&Rs per stage, work together to define schedules, response times and delivery
Experience Required:
- Good understanding of finance teams structures, responsibilities & processes
- Experience in finance systems delivery
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Comfortable working without a Programme Manager
