Our client, a leading global company, are recruiting for a Programme Planner to join the team on a contract basis. The role will be remote with very ad hoc travel that will be expensed.

Deliverables:

  • Programme and project detailed plan
  • Programme resource plan
  • Planning assurance
  • Capture and tracking of internal and external programme and project dependencies
  • Programme Plan reporting e.g for steering group
  • Support Project and Programme Managers with the creation and maintenance of Programme / Portfolio plans.
  • Plan reporting to support project and programme reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the programme resource plan, including managing cross-programme resource dependencies
  • Support the Project and Programme Manager with alignment of internal and external dependencies across project and programme plans
  • Identify and review Risks and Issues because of any slippage to the plan.
  • Identify and review Assumptions on which the project and programme Plans are based.
  • Regular project plan status updates and risks & issues, dependencies and assumptions to key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to monitor the quality of project reporting and deliverables to drive improvements across the programme

Skills required:

  • Must have worked in Programme Planning roles and have commercial experience
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience creating dependency plans
  • Proficient in portfolio, programme and project plan risk and issue management
  • Problem Solving
  • Awareness of a range of project & programme management methodologies / approaches
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
