We\'re looking for a

Cloud Platform Engineer to support and enhance a core cloud platform within a fast-paced, enterprise IT environment.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects across multiple cloud services while playing a key part in a wider transformation programme, including changes to IT operations and service delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across platform, delivery, and operational practices.
  • Help reduce operational risk across the core cloud platform.
  • Support demand planning and delivery by working closely with product owners and stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and best practice to application teams adopting cloud platforms.
  • Assist in maintaining operational commitments, including managing support tickets and resolving issues.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with AWS or Azure and cloud-native architectures
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C); Terraform experience is beneficial
  • Experience with building and hardening Windows and RHEL Golden Images
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with understanding of operational support processes
  • Scripting or automation experience (. Python, Power Shell, Bash, or tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
