The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

We have an opening for a 6 month rolling contract at one of our leading financial services clients based in London, inside IR35. This requires travel to Milton Keynes one day per week.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Utilising good business knowledge of payment flows for cross border and domestic payment types.
  • Bringing an understanding of ISO20022 principles and Payments Industry landscape.
  • Analysing key technical documentation provided by industry or suppliers eg Rulebooks, Product Specifications.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements and translation into user stories to feed into build phases.
  • Working with external service suppliers to coordinate project delivery and ensure compliance with ring-fencing regulation, and providing internal stakeholders with key updates to be taken into project governance forums.
  • Supporting architects on solution design.
  • Managing risk at all times through the project lifecycle.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years previous experience of working within a UK focused Payments environment and an understanding of the National Payments Vision programme and wider UK Payments landscape.
  • Experience of working with and implementing change projects.
  • Experience of developing processes and procedures in regards to governance and change management principles.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, comfortable challenging constructively and influencing stakeholders across all divisions.
  • Proven diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills.

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Able to build rapport with project stakeholders and demonstrate influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Uses all available channels and mechanisms to effectively communicate to all employees across the bank.
  • Have experience of working in agile, including an awareness of agile tools and how to use them (such as JIRA and Confluence).
