We’re working with a large infrastructure‑focused organisation to appoint an Organisation Effectiveness Manager to lead and embed Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) at enterprise level. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can run SWP end‑to‑end — getting into the detail, building robust workforce and skills plans, and embedding SWP as a core leadership discipline rather than a standalone HR process. The initial 6‑month contract is inside IR35 with options to extend or even go permanent. The role is hybrid and will require 3 days in the office near Hounslow, with 2 from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Embed strategic workforce planning into day‑to‑day business and people decision‑making
- Lead enterprise‑wide workforce forecasting, capability and skills planning
- Partner with HRBPs and senior leaders to drive ownership of workforce plans
- Challenge assumptions and support forward‑looking workforce decisions
- Translate workforce insight into clear, actionable priorities
- Design and run SWP governance, assurance and sign‑off
- Support wider Organisation Effectiveness activity (operating model, ways of working, reducing duplication)
About You
- Strong, practical experience in Strategic Workforce Planning (or closely aligned OD/OE roles)
- Comfortable engaging, influencing and challenging senior and executive‑level stakeholders
- Experience upskilling HRBPs and embedding new ways of working
- Ideal Background would be from large, complex or infrastructure (brick and mortar) heavy environments preferred
- Analytical support is in place — this role owns the thinking, structure and delivery
If this role aligns with your experience, please apply via LinkedIn or get in touch to discuss further. We’re particularly keen to speak with candidates who have hands‑on experience delivering strategic workforce planning or organisation design within complex, enterprise environments, and who are comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
