Organisational Design Consultant - 6 month contract - Scotland based - £450 per day

One of Lorien's leading Public Sector Clients is looking for a highly experienced Organisational Design Consultant to join their team on an initial 6 month contract (with an option to extend for up to a further six months, if required). The candidate can be location neutral in Scotland; however, travel will be required to Edinburgh/Glasgow. The role offers hybrid working, but as consultation commences, travel to other offices across Scotland is expected.

Assignment Description:

The client is undergoing a series of change programmes under a programme called Design for Success. A significant part of this programme is a workstream consulting, reviewing and making recommendations in relation to management structures, management span of responsibility, management roles and responsibilities.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of carrying out extensive consultation exercises to support decision making associated with management structures, management spans and roles & responsibilities.
  • Experience of re-designing management structures, management spans and management roles and responsibilities in a large organisation and making evidence-based recommendations in relation to this.
  • Experience of communicating with people at senior levels with the ability to positively influence people to view matters differently and from alternative perspectives.
  • A team player, who can work at pace in a supportive environment.
  • Understanding of how organisational design links to strategy.
