You will join a leading international insurance organisation within a newly created and rapidly growing Operations Performance function. This team has strong visibility and investment at COO level, with a clear mandate to embed data-driven performance management across the business. This role sits at the heart of the function bridging the gap between strategy and execution. You will own the transformation of raw, unstructured data into high-quality MI, dashboards and actionable insights that underpin operational decision making. You will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Data and senior leadership to define KPIs, build reporting frameworks, and deliver insight that drives performance improvements at scale.

Main responsibilities:

  • Own the development and delivery of management information, dashboards and operational insight to support decision making across Operations.
  • Transform complex and unstructured data from multiple sources into reliable, decision-ready outputs.
  • Build and scale Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks to track operational performance.
  • Partner with Data teams to ensure data sourcing, validation, and governance standards are met.
  • Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements, prioritising MI delivery in line with business needs.
  • Support performance governance, operational reviews and root cause analysis with high-quality insight.
  • Drive the transition from Excel-based reporting to scalable BI solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of global KPI standards, forecasting capability, and MI frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in analytics, MI, BI or data-focused roles within operations in the insurance space.
  • Strong understanding of operational data, KPIs, and performance frameworks.
  • Proven experience working with multiple data sources and unstructured datasets.
  • Advanced Power BI, SQL, and Excel skills.
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience delivering end-to-end MI solutions (data sourcing, validation, transformation, dashboards, insight).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present insight to senior audiences.
