Major Projects Estimator x 1
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, cost plans and commercial proposals for major highways and civil engineering projects
- Developing fully priced Bills of Quantities and/or activity schedules
- Supporting governance and approval processes, including commercial and risk inputs
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and data to produce accurate take‑offs and cost models
- Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for labour, plant, materials and services
- Evaluating tender returns and comparing commercial submissions
- Supporting value engineering activity in collaboration with project and delivery teams
- Assisting with pricing of variations and compensation events in line with NEC contracts
- Managing workload effectively to meet bid and pre‑construction deadlines
