We're looking for an exceptional Treasury Senior Manager β Capital Reporting to take ownership of capital and MREL reporting within a highly regulated financial services environment. This is a pivotal leadership role offering the opportunity to influence executive decision-making, shape regulatory strategy, and drive best-in-class capital reporting practices. You'll work closely with senior leaders across Treasury, Finance, Risk and Governance, ensuring the organisation maintains a robust, transparent and forward-looking approach to capital management.
As a senior member of the Capital Management leadership team, you will lead the production and oversight of capital and MREL reporting, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, governance and regulatory compliance. You'll provide insight into capital performance, emerging regulatory developments and strategic implications, while helping to shape the future direction of the organisation's capital framework. You will also act as a recognised subject matter expert across regulatory capital, capital adequacy and Basel 3.1, helping the business navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of capital and MREL reporting across the organisation and its regulated entities.
- Produce insightful reporting and analysis for Executive Committees, governance forums and senior stakeholders.
- Oversee external capital disclosures, including annual reporting and investor-facing materials.
- Ensure consistency of capital data and reporting across Treasury, Finance and Risk functions.
- Provide clear commentary on capital performance, movements, trends and variances against forecasts.
- Lead delivery of key ICAAP components and Pillar 2A assessments.
- Interpret and implement evolving regulatory requirements relating to capital and MREL management.
- Act as the organisation's subject matter expert for Basel 3.1 implementation and ongoing regulatory developments.
- Support forecasting and stress-testing activities by ensuring reporting methodologies remain aligned and robust.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance culture built on collaboration, accountability and expertise.
- Drive process optimisation, automation and reporting efficiencies across the capital reporting framework.
- Deputise for the Head of Capital Management when required.
You'll be a highly credible capital professional with deep technical knowledge and the confidence to engage and challenge stakeholders at all levels. We're particularly interested in candidates who bring:
- Extensive experience in capital reporting, prudential regulation, treasury, capital management or regulatory reporting.
- Strong knowledge of capital and MREL regulatory frameworks and emerging regulatory developments.
- Proven experience delivering regulatory reporting, ICAAP and Pillar 3 requirements.
- Experience interpreting complex regulatory requirements and translating them into practical business solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrable leadership experience with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
- Advanced Excel and model development capabilities, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A relevant professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, ACT, CertBALM or equivalent.
