We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join a well established platform team on an initial six month contract, working on a hybrid basis from Manchester, three days a week in the office. This one's ready to start straight away.

Please note, this role requires extensive hands on experience with both OmniStudio and Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud. Candidates without solid, demonstrable experience across both of these specifically won't be considered, so please only apply if this matches your background.

You'll be joining a Dev, QA and Application Support team responsible for the development, customisation, and ongoing support of a Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud platform, covering sales, contracts, renewals, brokers, credit, risk, and site management.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, and Flows to extend core Energy and Utilities Cloud functionality.
  • Building and maintaining Salesforce side integration components, including API endpoints, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC) subscriptions, and Apex callouts.
  • Implementing advanced configuration alongside development, spanning both declarative and programmatic patterns.
  • Assuring quality and stability through code reviews, unit testing, defect investigation, and technical diagnosis across Apex, Flows, OmniStudio, integrations, and platform configuration.
  • Producing and maintaining documentation covering customised functionality, integrations, and data structures.
  • Preparing metadata, managing environments, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines for controlled, audit ready deployments.

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive, hands on experience with OmniStudio is essential, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures. This is a core requirement, not a nice to have.
  • Extensive experience working with Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud is equally essential, ideally across sales, contracts, renewals, brokers, credit, risk, or site management.
  • Strong hands on Salesforce development experience across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce data and security model, governor limits, and deployment processes.
  • Experience building Salesforce integrations including Platform Events, CDC, REST/SOAP callouts, and API development.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, comfortable tracing end to end system interactions across interconnected platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Given the specialist nature of this role, we're only able to progress candidates who can clearly evidence extensive experience in both OmniStudio and Energy and Utilities Cloud. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.
