Are you an ambitious B2B salesperson ready to take full ownership of the sales cycle? We’re working with an exciting start up as they look for 2 x Business Development Managers to sell a market‑leading employer platform to mid–large organisations hiring early‑career talent at scale. This is a role ideal for someone confident running discovery, delivering compelling demos, and converting deals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prospecting and engaging senior HR & Talent leaders
- Running structured discovery around hiring needs, challenges and outcomes
- Booking and delivering product demos
- Managing opportunities end‑to‑end from discovery to close
- Working closely with the founder and GTM (go‑to‑market) team
- Keeping CRM and pipeline data accurate and up to date
Success Looks Like
- Consistently booking ICP‑aligned demos
- Clearly articulating platform differentiation vs job boards and agencies
- Building trusted relationships with Early Careers and Talent leaders
What You’ll Be Selling
A next‑generation Employer Platform & App designed to:
- Replace CV screening with behavioural‑science‑based matching
- Support improved diversity outcomes
- Improve retention through better match quality
What We’re Looking For:
- Around 3 years of B2B sales experience
- Background in Recruitment, Talent Solutions, HR Tech, or B2B SaaS
- Experience selling to Heads of Talent, TA Managers, Early Careers Leaders and HR decision‑makers
- Strong discovery and demo capability (beyond relationship selling)
- Confidence working within a fast‑paced startup environment
- Credibility and strong communication with senior stakeholders
Nice‑to‑Haves (Not required but beneficial)
- SaaS or subscription sales experience
- Exposure to apprenticeships, graduate schemes, or volume hiring
- Experience in a startup or scale‑up environment
Location & Working Pattern
Based in the Manchester office. First 3–6 months: 5 days in office. After onboarding: 4 days in office + 1 day from home, with flexibility. Candidates must live within commutable distance from Manchester City Centre.
