Social Art Director, Beauty | Contract | London (Hybrid)
We're working with a globally recognised luxury lifestyle brand to find a Social Art Director, Beauty to join their team on an initial three month contract, starting immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior creative who lives and breathes the beauty world, and who knows how to translate that into content that actually performs on social.
You'll be leading the creative direction across the brand's beauty social channels, working closely with the wider social, marketing, and production teams to bring beauty strategy to life in a way that feels native to each platform rather than bolted on.
- What you'll be doing
- Leading the creative direction of social first beauty content across platforms
- Bringing a strong, informed point of view on beauty trends, aesthetics, and storytelling formats
- Concepting and executing platform native ideas, from tutorials and creator led content through to product storytelling and visual experimentation
- Acting as Art Director on set for beauty shoots, with a real eye for lighting, texture, colour, and product representation
- Capturing i Phone self shot content where needed, with a strong grasp of Tik Tok and short form video language
- Developing and evolving the brand's social visual identity for beauty, keeping it consistent with wider campaign work
- Working alongside Beauty Art Directors and Design teams to extend campaign and launch creative into social
- Managing creative relationships with agencies, creators, photographers, stylists, and other collaborators
- Turning briefs into compelling visual narratives through mood boards, references, and treatments
- Making sure content is optimised for platform formats, pacing, and storytelling
- Juggling multiple workstreams and keeping stakeholders updated on timelines, progress, and risks
- Using performance insights to shape and refine creative output
- Mentoring junior creatives where appropriate
What we're looking for
- Essential: proven experience working on beauty content, ideally within a luxury environment
- A strong background as an Art Director, with a standout portfolio of beauty led social content across both image and video
- Real confidence art directing beauty shoots, with close attention to skin, texture, and detail
- Solid knowledge of social platforms and what drives content performance
- Experience working with beauty creators and influencers
- The ability to take a brand strategy and turn it into culturally relevant visual storytelling
- Strong communication and presentation skills, and comfort working with senior stakeholders
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a fast paced, multi project workload
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing tools
- A degree in a creative discipline, or equivalent experience

- Location: London, working a hybrid pattern of two days in the office and three days remote
