A global (re)insurance organisation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support and enhance enterprise ERM / Exposure Management platforms. This contract role focuses on maintaining and modernising legacy systems while building backend services and integrations within a highly specialised risk environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance full-stack applications, including new features and system improvements
- Support and refactor legacy platforms, ensuring performance, scalability and stability
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across business-critical systems
- Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party services, including exposure/cat modelling tools
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in an agile delivery environment
Key Experience Required (Essential)
- Proven experience within (re)insurance environments
- Hands-on experience in Exposure Management/catastrophe modelling platforms, including working with modelled risk at the account or portfolio level
- Experience integrating with catastrophe modelling tools or APIs (e.g. AIR Touchstone, RMS, Analyse Re)
- Strong full-stack development experience (Angular, JavaScript/jQuery, Python or C#)
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL, with strong debugging and optimisation skills
Desirable
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and DevOps tooling
- Familiarity with agile delivery and modern development practices
