Hybrid Working - London - 2 days a week on site. Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Senior C# Developer to join them, working on a critical, high volume, transactional system.
Main skills needed:
- Delivers high quality code and system designs for the FX Deal Capture Platform
- Contributes to the re-architecture of the platform to meet business growth ambitions
- Analysis of business and technical requirements
- Liaise with stakeholders, team members and other domain experts to capture and elaborate business requirements across domains/systems
- Accurate reporting to management regarding development initiatives and progress
- Follow-up on production issues
- Deliver high quality software
- Ensure that the systems are designed for performance and reliability in production
Requirements:
- Degree level qualification (ideally in Computing or Engineering)
- Excellent Software Engineering skills
- Strong programming background with a particular emphasis on C#, .NET Core; additional knowledge of C++ would be beneficial
- Domain expertise in a volume transactional system (FX, Equities or other financial transactions)
- Experience of working with a range of business and IT stakeholders
- Experience of working with offshore development teams
- Experience of business-critical system development, testing and support
- Experience and knowledge of the following technologies: Webservices, XML, FTML, Database - Oracle/SQL, IBM MQ
- Ability to liaise effectively with developers, business and other stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively as part of a formal project process
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as reporting capabilities
- Business oriented, positive, resilient, full of stamina with a clear focus on results and deliveries
