We are partnering with a leading Lloyd’s of London market insurer to hire a Senior Underwriting Operations Specialist within their FinPro division. You’ll act as a key link between underwriting and operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of complex risks while driving improvements across processes, data quality, and reporting.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll also take ownership of projects, support team development, and deputise where required — offering real visibility and progression potential.

  • Data Quality & Process Management: Ensure EPI and policy data is accurate and up to date across systems.
  • Capture and escalate data quality issues (internal teams and offshore partners).
  • Credit Control & Financial Oversight: Attend business unit meetings and deputise for the Operations Manager when required.
  • Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Deliver training to offshore teams and broader support functions.
  • Contribute to operational projects and broader team initiatives.

Market: Proven exposure to complex risks, binders, and underwriting is desirable. Strong Excel and analytical skills are required.
