This is a handsâon role requiring proactive design and development of new and evolving software tools and architectures for future products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software tools and architectures for Air Defence Systems.
- Work across the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements to integration and testing.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to maintain development momentum.
- Explore and implement new tools, techniques, and approaches to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Strong background in software engineering and systemâwide impact.
6+ years' experience in Java development.
Experience in other languages such as Ada.
Knowledge of DDS middleware and RealâTime Operating Systems.
Familiarity with standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C, or IEC61508.
Collaborative and open approach to development.
