Job Description Entity & Group Reporting Director Contract: 2 Months with potential to extend UK wide with travel to site when required. Overview We are seeking an experienced Entity & Group Reporting Director to provide leadership across financial and actuarial reporting activities for a major financial services organisation. This is a critical contract position requiring deep expertise in statutory, regulatory and management reporting, alongside a strong understanding of the interaction between actuarial results and financial reporting within insurance and pensions environments. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, technical oversight and robust governance across reporting processes, ensuring high-quality outputs and effective stakeholder engagement during a key reporting period. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of entity and group reporting activities across statutory, regulatory and management reporting cycles. Provide technical accounting and reporting oversight, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and accounting requirements. Challenge and assess complex accounting judgements, actuarial assumptions and reporting outcomes. Act as a senior advisor to executive stakeholders, providing insight and recommendations to support decision making. Ensure alignment between Finance and Actuarial teams to deliver consistent, accurate and timely reporting. Resolve complex accounting, actuarial and reporting issues across the organisation. Maintain strong governance, controls and quality assurance across reporting processes. Support reporting transformation initiatives, including reporting change and consolidation architecture improvements. Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Audit and Executive leadership teams. Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, controls and operating models. Essential Experience & Skills Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and/or a highly experienced actuarial or finance leader. Significant experience within Financial Services, ideally Life Insurance and Pensions. Proven track record leading statutory, regulatory and management reporting functions. Deep understanding of the interaction between actuarial reporting and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of reporting governance, controls and regulatory requirements. Experience providing technical oversight and challenge across complex reporting environments. Demonstrable experience operating at Director or Head of Function level. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership teams. Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing high-performing teams and delivering through periods of significant change. Desirable Experience Experience of reporting transformation programmes. Exposure to finance change initiatives and consolidation architecture. Knowledge of insurance regulatory reporting frameworks. Previous experience within large, complex insurance or pensions organisations.
