Role Purpose
The Programme Manager will lead the governance, planning, and delivery of a portfolio of transformation reporting initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring readiness for evolving regulatory and ESG reporting requirements, coordinating major SAP platform initiatives, and maintaining strong delivery and financial discipline across all workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme Leadership & Governance: Lead programme management for all transformation-related reporting initiatives, including future regulatory and ESG reporting requirements. Establish and embed robust programme governance, delivery controls, and ways of working to ensure timely and controlled execution. Provide strategic direction and leadership across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment to organisational priorities.
- Technology Delivery & Coordination: Coordinate delivery of major technology platform initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA (S4) and SAP MSM, ensuring alignment with business and reporting needs. Serve as the bridge between technology, finance, reporting, and operational teams to facilitate integrated and coherent delivery.
- Planning, Risk & Dependency Management: Develop and maintain detailed, integrated delivery plans across the programme. Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies with appropriate governance and mitigation. Drive consistent progress through structured delivery practices and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Financial Management: Manage defined Opex and Capex elements to ensure all activities are delivered within the approved 2026 programme budget. Track spend, forecast future costs, and ensure compliance with internal finance processes and reporting.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-workstream transformation and IT programmes.
- Understanding of regulatory and ESG reporting environments.
- Ability to coordinate delivery across technical and business functions.
- Excellent governance, planning, risk, and dependency management capabilities.
- Financial management skills with experience working to defined budgets.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (S4).
- Experience with MSM platforms.
- Background in ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, or non-financial disclosure programmes.
