MDM Data Business Analyst with expertise in SAP MDG and Informatica to support the delivery of enterprise-wide data management initiatives, with a particular focus on
Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality (DQ), and Data Governance (DG)
The successful candidate will play a key role in requirements gathering, analysis, design support, testing, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring business and data requirements are clearly defined, documented, and delivered across complex enterprise data programmes.
Key Responsibilities for the MDM Data Business Analyst with expertise in SAP MDG and Informatica
- Lead business and data requirements gathering workshops with key stakeholders.
- Document, analyse, and obtain sign-off for business, functional, and data requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed data specifications and system configurations.
- Support the design, build, and implementation of MDM, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions.
- Develop and review SIT and UAT test scenarios, test scripts, and test evidence.
- Conduct data analysis and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Define and monitor data quality rules, controls, and KPIs.
- Identify, investigate, and support the resolution of data quality issues.
- Support the implementation and governance of customer and product master data domains.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data processes, governance frameworks, and operating models.
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, process maps, data definitions, user stories, and governance artefacts.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Regulatory, Marketing, Technology, and Data teams to drive successful delivery.
Required Experience for the MDM Data Business Analyst with expertise in SAP MDG and Informatica
- Proven experience delivering Enterprise Data Management initiatives covering:
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Data Quality (DQ)
- Data Governance (DG)
- Experience within Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Retail, or similarly complex regulated environments is highly desirable.
