We are partnering with a leading strategy and advisory team that is expanding its Deal Strategy and Performance Transformation capability. They are seeking a high‑calibre Manager to focus on Deal Strategy and Commercial Due Diligence within the Media sector, with broader exposure across Telecommunications and Technology.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑impact engagements including M&A strategy, commercial due diligence, value creation, growth strategy, and enterprise‑wide transformation within a fast‑growing and intellectually rigorous environment. You will join a collaborative team known for combining deep industry expertise with analytical rigour and innovative thinking to deliver measurable value for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor and day‑to‑day client contact on engagements, building long‑term relationships
  • Lead small‑to‑mid‑sized projects or manage key workstreams within larger, complex programmes
  • Deliver high‑quality, client‑ready outputs with minimal oversight
  • Design and execute commercial due diligence and deal strategy projects (e.g. M&A strategy, value creation)
  • Develop robust financial and business models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their development
  • Contribute to business development, including proposals, client pitches, and thought leadership
  • Proactively support internal initiatives and help shape the growth of the practice
  • Ensure adherence to risk management and governance standards
Experience Required
  • Experience working in a leading strategy consulting business, Big 4 firm or strategy / corporate development team in industry
  • Strong foundational understanding of the value drivers across the Media sector; this should include experience of recent M&A transactions, i.e. CDD, VDD, M&A Strategy or Value Creation projects in the Media sector
  • Evidence of involvement developing proposals, scopes and pricing for small and mid‑sized consulting assignments
  • Experience leading workstreams and managing teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes
  • Involvement in business development, including proposal writing and client presentations
  • Strong relationship‑building skills across clients and internal stakeholders
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical capability
  • Ability to structure complex problems and deliver practical, actionable insights
  • Experience analysing large datasets and distilling key strategic messages
  • Strong financial modelling skills underpinning strategic recommendations
  • Commercially astute with an understanding of deal economics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong academic background; additional language skills are advantageous
