We're supporting a major UK institution undergoing a large-scale technology modernisation programme and are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-profile transformation team on an initial 6-month contract.
Working within a technology strategy and architecture function, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering technology change initiatives, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective solutions that support strategic objectives.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Architects and business stakeholders to drive requirements gathering, analysis and solution design across a portfolio of technology modernisation projects.
- Capturing, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements
- Writing user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to Agile delivery practices
- Producing high-quality business analysis artefacts, including process maps, use cases and functional specifications
- Supporting sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews and retrospectives
- Working collaboratively with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives
- Supporting design, testing and implementation activities throughout the delivery lifecycle
Significant experience as a Business Analyst on technology-focused transformation programmes.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery methodologies.
Proven stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams.
Experience using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Degree educated and/or relevant Business Analysis certification (BCS, IIBA, CBAP or equivalent).
Business Architecture, Data analysis, data migration or data management, Large-scale Agile delivery environments, DevOps or Agile certifications, Project and delivery management principles, Financial services, regulatory or highly governed environments.
