A fast‑growing, AI‑led public sector organisation is building new product teams and needs a hands‑on Head of Agile Delivery / Agile Coach to improve delivery and team performance. You’ll be accountable for improving delivery effectiveness across a portfolio of AI product teams – setting standards, coaching teams, and building a delivery function that helps teams move faster without adding unnecessary process.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in Agile Delivery / Agile Coaching roles within product‑led environments
- Strong practical knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, XP) with the ability to apply them pragmatically
- Proven track record improving team performance, delivery pace, and team health across multiple squads
- Experience coaching and developing teams and delivery managers, driving adoption of effective ways of working
- Confident facilitator, able to design and lead impactful workshops, ceremonies, and team sessions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross‑functional teams
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments (e.g., start‑up or scaling organisations)
- Experience working across multiple teams / teams‑of‑teams delivery models
- Understanding of how AI tooling is changing product delivery and team ways of working
- Experience working in public sector or government environments
- Background across both start‑ups and larger organisations
Logistics
Initial 4–5 days onsite to embed for first couple weeks, then 2–3 days/week in Aldgate
