Graduate Operations/Middle Office Analyst (6-Month Contract) Investment Banking
Glasgow/Hybrid
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Analyst for a 6-month contract opportunity with a leading investment banking client. This role would suit an individual who has completed a relevant internship within financial services, investment banking, asset management, or a fund administration environment and is looking to build on their experience within a fast-paced markets operation.
The successful candidate will have previous exposure to Middle Office, Trade Support, Investment Operations, Fund Administration, Settlements, Reconciliations, Client Services, or a similar operational function. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work with large volumes of data are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting day-to-day Middle Office and operational activities
- Trade life cycle monitoring and exception management
- Investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks
- Working closely with Front Office, Risk, Operations and external counterparties
- Assisting with reporting, data analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to controls
Requirements:
- Degree educated (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business or similar)
- Prior internship or placement experience within an investment
