Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in London. I’m currently working with a high‑growth, consumer‑focused digital brand that is looking to bring in an experienced Paid Social / PPC Specialist on a 6‑month contract. This is a critical, standalone role where you’ll be temporarily owning the full paid media function. There is no agency support, so this will suit someone who is equally comfortable being hands‑on in the platforms as they are setting strategy, prioritising channels and advising the wider business.
The role involves taking full responsibility for managing and optimising paid acquisition channels, ensuring performance is maintained and improved during a period of transition. Key responsibilities will include:
- Owning the end‑to‑end paid media strategy and execution across Paid Social and PPC
- Hands‑on management of accounts, budgets, testing and optimisation
- Setting channel strategy, forecasts and performance targets
- Monitoring and reporting on performance, with clear insights and recommendations
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to align paid activity with wider commercial goals
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scale and channel mix
- Acting as the go‑to paid media expert within the business during the contract period
What they’re looking for:
- Proven experience in Paid Social and PPC roles, ideally within high‑growth or consumer brands
- Someone who has run channels in‑house and is comfortable without agency support
- Strong strategic thinking, but genuinely hands‑on in platforms
- Confident managing budgets, performance and stakeholder expectations
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership quickly in a fast‑moving environment
- Available (or close to available) for a 6‑month contract
This is a great opportunity for a senior Paid Media contractor who enjoys autonomy, ownership and impact, and who can confidently step in and run everything during a key period for the business.
