We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with Data Quality and MDM experience to support the delivery of enterprise-wide data management initiatives. The Business Data Analyst will play a key role in defining data quality requirements, streamlining data processes, and partnering with stakeholders to drive high standards of accuracy, compliance, and consistency across the organisation.
In this role, you will contribute to requirements gathering, support design and build activities, and ensure high-quality test coverage across SIT & UAT cycles.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead on Data Quality and MDM requirements gathering, documentation, and sign-off
- Analyse and optimise business processes and associated data workflows
- Translate business needs into clear data requirements and system behaviours
- Define, monitor, and manage data quality rules, KPIs, and remediation processes
- Ensure test scripts are well defined to support SIT & UAT activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory, and Technology
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Data Quality and Governance; and MDM.
- Proven experience in Data Quality Management and/or MDM within an enterprise environment
- Understanding of data concepts: metadata, reference data, lineage, data models
- Experience with Data Governance and enterprise data management frameworks
- SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Informatica and/or SAP MDG is highly desirable, or similar enterprise data tools
- Exceptional documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
