We are building AI-powered internal applications on our global Databricks platform to transform how teams across Finance, HR, Sales, and Marketing work. We’re looking for engineers who thrive on solving operational challenges with AI, automation, and lightweight applications — and who enjoy working closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that people actually use.

This is not a role for engineers who build in isolation. You’ll combine technical expertise with business empathy, turning workflows and pain points into practical AI-powered tools that accelerate decision-making and simplify daily work.

We’re looking for engineers who are not only deeply technical in AI but also excellent communicators and stakeholder partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Workflow analysis: Partner with business teams to understand inefficiencies and opportunities for automation.
  • Application development: Build lightweight internal apps using Python-native tools (Streamlit, Gradio, FastAPI, Databricks Apps).
  • AI agent orchestration: Guide AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude Code) to generate and refine production-ready code.
  • Databricks integration: Use Delta tables, Unity Catalog, Lakehouse, and Vector Search as building blocks.
  • Automation: Improve workflows with intelligent automation platforms like Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Observability: Implement monitoring and telemetry using Grafana and industry-standard practices.
  • Solution ownership: Deliver secure, scalable, and adopted applications — not just prototypes.
  • Collaboration: Work with Platform, Data, and Reliability teams to align with governance and engineering standards.
Who You Are
  • You have AI-native engineering practice — daily use of AI coding agents, orchestration of LLM workflows, and production-ready delivery.
  • You bring software engineering experience with Python and modern app frameworks.
  • You are comfortable with Databricks proficiency or equivalent cloud-native platforms.
  • You demonstrate functional empathy — working closely with non-technical stakeholders to translate workflows into usable solutions.
