About the Role

We are looking for a 24/7 NOC Engineer to join a busy Network Operations Centre supporting critical IT and network infrastructure. You’ll work in a fast-paced operational environment, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring high service availability for a diverse customer base. This role is ideal for someone with entry-level IT or networking experience, or a recent graduate with CCNA or strong networking fundamentals, who is keen to build a long-term career in network operations.

Shift Pattern

  • 4 days on (7:00am – 7:00pm), followed by 4 days off
  • 4 nights on (7:00pm – 7:00am), followed by 4 days off
  • Continuous rotating shift pattern

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of escalation for customer incidents and service requests
  • Log, manage, and resolve faults using an ITSM tool, aiming for first-time resolution where possible
  • Work to defined SLAs and maintain regular communication with customers
  • Monitor network performance and system health using network monitoring tools
  • Troubleshoot and configure routers, switches, and related network devices
  • Manage and investigate circuit faults across broadband and Ethernet services
  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers and field engineers to resolve incidents
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates and complete detailed shift handovers

What We’re Looking For

  • Some experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, NOC, or Networking (graduates welcome)
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (CCNA or equivalent knowledge preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment
  • Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance
