OverviewWe are seeking a bright and motivated individual to join our legal team within the investment banking division. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal, recent law graduate, or newly qualified lawyer with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in financial services law.
You will support the legal team in managing and negotiating master agreement documentation, with full training provided by internal experts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the review and negotiation of master agreements (e.g., ISDA, GMRA).
- Draft and maintain legal documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams including legal, risk, and compliance.
- Stay informed on legal developments to ensure documentation remains enforceable and aligned with current guidelines.
- Contribute to process improvements and support legal operations.
- Experience in contractual negotiations - not essential
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Interest in an in-house legal role within the investment banking sector.
